The Reston Rotary is proud to sponsor Cosette (Cosi) Bennet from Freedom HS in South Riding to be a Rotary Youth Exchange student, spending a year living in Finland with a host family and attending school. Thank you to the great efforts of Reston Rotary Youth Exchange Coordinator, Pilar Meneses, District 7610 Youth Exchange Chair, Matt Leavitt, and Reston Rotary President Sebastian Coe.
 

 
 
 
 
The Rotary Club of Reston was awarded the "Meritorious Club Service Award", the "Gold 2015-16 Presidential Citation" and the "District Governor's Citation".
 
 
 
The Rotary Club of Reston hosted a Stop Hunger event now. The event was a success thanks to the great work of many volunteers from all ages.
Rotarians and members of the Reston community packaged 10,150 meals for people in need all over the world.
 
 
 
The Rotary Club of Reston welcomed the 6th grade members of the "Band of Brothers" (BoB) from Aldrin Elementary School.
 
 
 
The Rotary Club of Reston awarded a $3,000 scholarship to Loubna Faroun a high school senior from South Lakes High School
 
 
 
The Rotary Club of Reston donated $1,000 to PolioPlus, a Rotary-led program with the express mission of eradicating the polio virus world-wide. This was matched 2-to-1 by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, for a total gift of $3,000.
 
 
 
Reston Rotary supports the 14th Annual Senior Senior Prom organized by the Herndon Rotary Club at St. Joseph Hall.
 
 
 
The Rotary Club of Reston participated at the 28th Annual Potomac River Watershed Cleanup Coordinated by the Alice Ferguson Foundation and Reston Association.
 
 
 
The Reston Rotary Club met at the Culinary Department at South Lakes High School (SLHS) in Reston.

March 4, 2014 - The Rotary Club of Reston and the Reston Community Orchestra joined forces at the Galactic Gala event.  Stars Wars themed Fundraising event supporting Fairfax County Reston Public Schools and the “End Polio Now” Campaign.

 
 
 
Reston Rotary volunteered to raise funds for Salvation Army during the 2015 Holiday Season.
 
 
 
Rotary Club of Reston donates to the Embry Rucker Shelter in Reston.
 
 
 
The Rotary Club of Reston donated $1,000 to support the YMCA Fairfax County Reston's efforts to provide financial assistance to children for summer camps.
 
 
 
Reston Rotary supported Reston Association efforts for Pathway Cleanup at Hunter Woods site in Reston.
 
 
 
The Rotary Club of Reston was proud to participate at YMCA Fairfax County Reston Gala event on November 14, 2015
 
 
 

The Reston Rotary Club donated $2,500 to Aldrin Elementary School to support programs including music education, teacher development, "Band of Brothers Project" and more.

 
 
 
The South Lakes High School Interact Club and Reston Rotary Club members prepared food baskets for distribution to 47 needy individuals and families in the Reston area as part of the "Done in a Day" Rotary District project. 
 
 
 
 
The Rotary Club of Reston supports the work of ShelterBox, an international disaster relief Rotary partner that delivers emergency shelter, warmth, and dignity to people affected by disasters worldwide.
 
 
 
Members of the Reston Rotary and South Lakes High School Interact clubs volunteer every year to help with the Senior-Senior Prom organized by the Herndon and Reston Rotary Clubs.
 
 

The Rotary Club of Reston joined with the Rotary Club of Ashburn and several other District clubs in a partnership with the Rotary Club of Kirovograd, Ukraine.

 
 
 

The Rotary clubs of Reston and Fairfax in Virginia, and Monrovia in Liberia have partnered to carry-out a water and sanitation project in Liberia.
